About The Trust

The Trust (UK Registered Charity Number 1058701), is run by a board of six trustees and funds media initiatives in East Africa. For example, they have supported the setting up and running of a local fm radio station in Tsavo National Park in Kenya. They also support some of the activities undertaken by the Mediae Company. Recently they contributed Ford Foundation funds to the production of a Kenyan television series called “School Shape Up” which looked at issues surrounding female education in the North Eastern part of Kenya.
